Open House Day at OPITZ

Great weather, lots of friendly people, great contacts: on Saturday, June 6, there was a lot of hustle and bustle on the new premises of our family business in Northeim. Several hundred customers and partners, representatives of local politics and business and, of course, our employees and their families accepted our invitation to the open day. Here are some photo impressions.

Opitz Packaging Systems sees itself as an open company. Occasions such as the move to the new plant premises are not commonplace. That's why we take advantage of such opportunities to give all interested parties an insight into our technology, production facilities and, ultimately, our corporate culture. Of course, an open day is also an excellent opportunity to make new contacts.

Fun and entertainment were of course the top priority. And that was definitely not neglected! We would like to thank all visitors for the wonderful day and the many inauguration gifts. Special thanks also go to the OPITZ team and our partners who were involved in the planning and implementation of the event.

That was our program:

  • guided tours, demonstration of the machines, hands-on machinery: visitors were allowed to operate the machines under the guidance of our employees
  • free access to all rooms in the new building, application stand & unfiltered exchange with our employees - “what does working for us look like” -, information stands of our partners (who were involved in the new building)
  • cold drinks, hot food, coffee and sweets - all from small, regional companies
  • bouncy castles, childcare, face painting and sports activities from the Northeim Handball Club for children of all ages
  • representatives of regional politics: Simon Hartmann, Mayor of Northeim, Frauke Heiligenstadt, SPD Member of Parliament and regional business development organisation
  • many familiar faces from the regional economy
