Perfect weather, lots of friendly people, great contacts: on Sunday, June 8, there was a lot of excitement at the new premises of our family business in Northeim. Several hundred customers and partners, representatives of local politics and business, and of course our employees and their families accepted our invitation to the open house. Here are some photos from the event.

Opitz Packaging Systems sees itself as an open company. Events such as the move to the new premises are not an everyday occurrence. This makes us all the more keen to take advantage of such opportunities to give all interested parties an insight into our technology, production facilities – and ultimately our corporate culture. Of course, an open house is also an excellent opportunity to make new contacts.

Fun and enjoyment were naturally our top priorities. And there was definitely no shortage of either! We would like to thank all our visitors for a wonderful day and the many housewarming gifts. Special thanks also go to the OPITZ team and our partners who were involved in planning and organizing the event.

This was our program:

  • Guided tours, demonstrations of the machines, hands-on machinery—visitors were allowed to operate the machines under the guidance of our employees.
  • Free movement through all rooms in the new building, application booth & unfiltered exchange with our employees – “what is it like to work for us” –, information booths of our partners (who were involved in the new construction)
  • Cold drinks, hot food, coffee, and sweets – all from small regional businesses
  • Bouncy castles, childcare, face painting, and sports activities from the Northeim Handball Club for children of all ages.
  • Representatives of regional politics: Simon Hartmann, Mayor of Northeim, Frauke Heiligenstadt, SPD Member of the Bundestag, and regional economic development agencies.
  • Many familiar faces from the regional economy.
