Sales representative in internal and external sales (m/f/d)

Your profile:

  • You have completed commercial or technical training, e.g., as an industrial clerk, technical clerk, or a comparable qualification—ideally with additional knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, or mechatronics.
  • You have professional experience in the sale of capital goods or technical products, preferably in the field of special-purpose and packaging machines.
  • You have a technical understanding of complex machines and processes and the ability to develop customer-specific solutions.
  • You enjoy customer contact, have strong communication and presentation skills and a confident, persuasive manner at all hierarchical levels.
  • You work in a structured, goal-oriented and independent manner and demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
  • You have experience in preparing quotations, calculating costs and negotiating contracts.
  • You are confident in using MS Office applications and CRM systems.
  • You have good written and spoken English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage.
  • You have a Class B driver’s license and are willing to travel for field service appointments.

Your tasks:

  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships with a focus on long-term partnerships
  • Acquisition of new customers and identification of new market potential, particularly in the target sectors of intralogistics and CEP shipping
  • Presentation and consultation regarding our products and services in internal and external sales

Service technician (m/f/d)

Your profile:

  • You have completed technical training, e.g., as a mechatronics engineer, electronics technician, industrial mechanic, or have a comparable qualification.
  • Ideally, you already have some professional experience in technical customer support or service.

Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d)

Your profile:

  • You have completed technical training in the mechanical/mechatronic field or have a comparable qualification.
  • You have basic knowledge of pneumatics and sensor technology.

Control Engineer / PLC Programmer (m/f/d)

  • You have completed training in electrical engineering/mechatronics.

Machining Technician (m/f/d)

Your profile:

  • You have completed technical training, ideally in the field of machining, CNC technology, or a comparable qualification
  • You have experience operating and programming CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain Manual Plus and/or Siemens 840 controls is desirable

Internships

Gaining practical experience
As a medium-sized company, we offer ideal opportunities to gain practical experience. Interested individuals can complete both general internships in mechanical engineering and project-related tasks as part of their studies.

General internships
A general internship at OPITZ provides a targeted introduction to the processes involved in a mechanical engineering company. As a medium-sized company, we are able to offer individual support for both commercial and technical internships. A general internship is therefore suitable both for career pre-selection through a school internship and for gaining practical experience during your studies.

Project-based internships
As an innovative company, we are constantly striving to improve and further develop our systems and products. As part of a project-based internship, students have the opportunity (for example, in the form of a project or thesis) to implement solutions to specific tasks in a constructive and mechanical manner. Our support helps them to develop marketable solutions that can be put to practical use in our systems. Applicants should have basic mechanical training, experience with Inventor and/or AutoCAD and design experience.
