Your profile:
- You have completed commercial or technical training, e.g., as an industrial clerk, technical clerk, or a comparable qualification—ideally with additional knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, or mechatronics.
- You have professional experience in the sale of capital goods or technical products, preferably in the field of special-purpose and packaging machines.
- You have a technical understanding of complex machines and processes and the ability to develop customer-specific solutions.
- You enjoy customer contact, have strong communication and presentation skills and a confident, persuasive manner at all hierarchical levels.
- You work in a structured, goal-oriented and independent manner and demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
- You have experience in preparing quotations, calculating costs and negotiating contracts.
- You are confident in using MS Office applications and CRM systems.
- You have good written and spoken English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage.
- You have a Class B driver’s license and are willing to travel for field service appointments.
Your tasks:
- Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships with a focus on long-term partnerships
- Acquisition of new customers and identification of new market potential, particularly in the target sectors of intralogistics and CEP shipping
- Presentation and consultation regarding our products and services in internal and external sales
- Bedarfsermittlung beim Kunden vor Ort und Entwicklung maßgeschneiderter Verpackungslösungen
- Preparation of quotations, including technical and commercial details, in close cooperation with engineering, project management and automation
- Contract negotiation and project support from initial contact to commissioning
- Market and competition orientation to identify trends and opportunities
- Maintaining complete documentation of all sales activities in the CRM system
- Participation in trade fairs, industry events and customer days to represent the company
